Susan D. Weller

The sweetest and kindest of souls, with the most genuine and uplifting smile, she was loved by all that knew her. She was a proud, lifetime resident of Bexley. She graduated from Bexley High School and The Ohio State University, where she earned her B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She was devoted to her work with the Zidel Dental Group for nearly 30 years, where she befriended many patients and co-workers.

She particularly enjoyed reading books, cross stitching, OSU sports, do it yourself projects, and spending time with her many beloved friends. Most of all, she took pleasure in being with her family. She enjoyed 43 wonderful years of marriage with her husband and best friend, and many treasured years with her children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, Howard and Millie Stegmiller; survived by her husband and soul mate, Joe; children, Matt (Kristina) Weller, Emily (Zeb) Perfect, Ashley (Steve) Davis; grandchildren, Ethan Hayes Perfect and Eva Cassady Perfect; sister, Carolyn (Stu) Bolin; brother in law, John (Terry) Weller; and first cousins, Barbara Lucks, Linda Lucks, Jack (Cherie) Lucks, Frank (Carolyn) Vetter, and Richard (Margaret) Vetter.

Memorial Service to be held at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 225 E. Gates St., Columbus, on Tuesday, September 1st at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Alan Hicks officiating. All are welcome to join the family for a Celebration of Life gathering immediately following the Memorial Service. The gathering will take place at the Weller residence in Bexley and will last until 9 p.m. (private family internment at Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ.
