

passed away on September 29th, 2021, in Columbus, OH. He is the son of David and Karen
(Roy) Booth. He graduated in 1983 from Northwest High school in Canal Fulton and received a
bachelor's degree in accounting at the University of Akron in 1987. Throughout his career he
held the positions of controller, chief financial officer and Certified Public Accountant, however
he most recently worked as a consultant. A few of his accomplishments include becoming a
black belt in multiple martial arts, including aikido. He was a licensed rescue scuba diver,
although if you asked him he would say his children were his biggest accomplishments. He was
an avid weightlifter and enjoyed his time in the gym. His favorite activity was watching his
children play sports. His most notable characteristics were his impressive work ethic and his
devotion to his family. He had an unbelievable compassion for everybody he met, with the
immeasurable ability to give to others.
He is survived by his father, David; daughter, Sarah; and son Jacob; brother, Edward (Karen); nephews Jordan and Nathan (Hannah); niece, Shelby; Fiancé, Marcie Bowlin; Stepchildren, Penelope and Garron Newell; Mother of children and friend, Heather Dunn; beloved dog Brea.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Karen (Roy) Booth, and Infant daughter Jessica.
A public visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, from 10:30AM until 12:30PM where a funeral service will follow at 12:30, at the Schoedinger Worthington funeral home, 6699 North High St., Worthington OH, 43085.
