Thomas Miles Alspach, age 62, passed away suddenly at his residence November 27, 2015. Tom was born on July 31, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to Jean (Cline) Alspach and the late Robert Alspach. He graduated from West High School in 1971, and attended Columbus College of Art and Design. Following school, Tom was a VISTA volunteer with the South Side Settlement House. He worked as an art preparator for the Wexner Center for the Arts, Keny Galleries and the Riffe Gallery. Tom was a sculptor and also worked as a carpenter for Players Theatre. His work was exhibited at AmeriFlora '92. Tom is survived by his mother, Jean Alspach; sister, Robyn Alspach; brother, Daniel Alspach and numerous close friends. Tom donated his body to OSU College of Medicine. A memorial service will be held on April 17, 2016 at Mershon Auditorium by the College of Medicine, honoring his gift.
