

Thomas was born on December 18, 1955 in Early Branch, South Carolina. He grew up in Newark, New Jersey, where he excelled in high school Track and Field. After graduating from high school, Thomas starred in Track at Central State University setting records in the mile.
Thomas was preceded in death by his mother Ether Belle Doctor and his late wife Grace Green.
Thomas is survived by his wife Tamara Ann Green and two children, Mychal Thomas Green and Lauren Nicole Green, daughter-in-law Adriana Green and stepsons Desmond Nyerere Marcus Randolph and Devin Jamil Anthony Randolph.
Thomas was a loving grandfather to his four grandsons, Aiden, Jackson, Justin and Jordan. He was their biggest fan, showering them with affection, patience, and wisdom. He instilled in them a strong sense of family and the importance of kindness and compassion.
Thomas was a pillar of his community, actively involved in church and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
In addition to his love for golf, Thomas enjoyed dancing and traveling. He brought so much joy and energy to those around him with his infectious smile and positive outlook on life.
Thomas Leon Green will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was a man of exceptional character, strength and heart. His presence will forever be cherished, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 8th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger, 5554 Karl Road.
