Thomas S. Hack

Thomas S. Hack, age 57, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018. He was born September 22, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio to William Sr. and the late Rosemarie (Cupp) Hack and was a graduate of Chaney High School, class of '79. Following graduation he attended Youngstown University, OSU, CTI and finally Franklin University. He loved technology! Tom worked in commercial underwriting at Nationwide Insurance and was a member of East Side Grace Brethren Church. He loved taking his dogs (Tempe and Greta) for walks around the pond, thoroughly enjoyed Christmas with his family and was most often found watching his family's activities through the lens of his video camera. In addition to his father, he is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 30 years, Lynne (Moore) Hack; daughter, Alexandra "Alex" Hack; son, Andrew "Andy" Hack; siblings, Jean Marie Bender (Thomas-deceased), William Jr. (Bobbie) Hack, Matthew Hack, Theresa Constantine, Christine Hack and Rose Hack; mother-in-law Ramona E. Moore and extended family. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio where family will welcome friends from 1-2pm; Pastor Marty Ertel, officiating. Tom gave a final gift through eye donation to the Central Ohio Lions Eye Bank.
