Thomas E. J. Hunter, of Laurelville, passed away June 2, 2014. He was born December 8, 1953, the son of Loren and Elizabeth (O'Rourke) Hunter. He served his country in the U. S. Army and very proud of that. Thomas loved playing guitar, singing, fishing, and loved his beer. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving and wonderful fiancée Rayme Meadows, brothers and sister; Joseph (Sharon), Richard (Renee), David (Mimi), Dale (Mary) Hunter and Helen Poling; children, Loraina (Hunter) Workman, and Dustin Hunter; step children, Debbie and Durona Schmidt, Robbie Merrimen, and Bubby. 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and 3 very special dogs. Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2014, from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home in Circleville with a graveside service on Friday, at 12 pm at Forest Cemetery in Circleville, Ohio with military service provided by Amvets Post 2256 Honor Guard.
