

Thomas Edward Landini, 63, a resident of Dublin, OH died Sunday, March 13, 2011. He was born October 9, 1947 in McKeesport, PA to Edward and Louise (Christie) Landini. He had a long career in public broadcasting with local TV affiliates and CPB in Washington, DC. He was a man of varied interests, with a wry sense of humor. He loved to study, learn and create, whether it was through technology (an Apple fan), scientific topics, cooking, or studying the world in general. He liked travel in the West, particularly New Mexico. He was a member of the Buckeye Striders Race Walkers, in which he trained and competed in distance races. He was a fan of the Columbus Jazz Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tom had a passion for the Feldenkrais method of awareness thru body movement, of which he was a former practitioner. Peggy and Tom’s world revolved around each other. They enjoyed their private time and their four kitty cats. Tom felt blessed for the parents he was given and who survive him. Also survived by his loving wife Peggy of thirty seven years, daughter Elizabeth Leigh (John) Wright and grandson Jack, uncles and cousins, and brother-in-law Tom (Nancy) Hopkins. Family will receive friends Friday from 5 PM until time of service at 6PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd.
