

Tom (Paul Thomas) Bischoff age 68, of Westerville, OH, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 19, 2016. He was born on November 5, 1947 in Petoskey, MI to the late Norman and Minnie (Page) Bischoff. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Tom was a graduate of Evangel University and Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. He retired from DFAS (Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Columbus) as an accountant after 22 years of service, and was a member of Radiant Life Church, where he sang in the choir and on the worship team. Tom enjoyed a good round of golf with his many golf buddies and always made himself available to help or encourage others. He was proud of his children and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. After retiring, he spent many hours volunteering at Gahanna Christian Academy. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Ruth (Baldwin) Bischoff; children, Tommy (Ann) Bischoff and Rachelle (Mike) Steffen; grandchildren, Lola, Eliza, Amelia, Hannah, and Michael; dear friends Ron and Debbie Jansen; brother, Jim Bischoff and sister, Betty Bischoff; extended family, Jim and Betty Baker, Robert and Sharon Bowden, Henry and Carolyn Landry, John and June Flood, Eddie and Jolene Taylor, Darlene Baldwin and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4-6pm Monday, July 25, 2016 at Radiant Life Church, 7100 Post Rd. Dublin, OH 43016, where the memorial service will begin at 6 pm. Interment will be held at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gahanna Christian Academy, 817 N. Hamilton Rd., Gahanna, OH. 43230. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Worthington Chapel.
