Trudy "Jackie" Peters

Trudy “Jackie” Peters, age 63, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 5, 1952 to the late Carl and Lethel Mills Starr. Devoted to her family, Jackie was a loving Wife, Mom and MawMaw.

She took great pride in watching her grandchildren, while they will enjoy the scrapbook of memories she put together for them. Jackie could talk politics with anyone she met and enjoyed re-connecting on Facebook.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years (October 23, 1971) Doug; sons: Jason and Chris (Courtney); grandchildren: Mason, Hannah and Lainey; sister-in-law Judy Lynn Starr; brother-in-law David Brown; many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families; and Aunt Darlene Fairbanks; uncles Vern Royster and John Mills; brother-in-law Don (Marcia) Peters. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Jimmy and Billy Starr and Judy Brown.

Family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, 43230, where her Funeral Service will be held at 10am, Friday, October 23, 2015. Interment to follow at Jersey Cemetery.
