Utridge “Rocky” Manter passed away peacefully while at home with the loving care of staff members from Reaching Our Goals, on March 9, 2026, at the age of 46. Rocky was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 13, 1979. He has joined his mother, Rebecca L. Hale, in death, and is survived by sisters Tameria, Jennifer and brothers Robert and James. Rocky is an uncle to many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Rocky graduated from West Central, received services from Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities and through the years, participated in programs with ARC Industries, ADD and his favorite Morning View Care Center. Rocky loved all things Rock and Roll. He touched the lives of so many people with his smile and positive attitude. Rocky’s vibrant presence will be missed. He was a Rock Star!
Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, OH 43229 on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm; a Memorial Service will follow, beginning at 4:00 pm.
