Victor Allan Miller, age 91 of Dublin, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. Victor was born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York, youngest child of the late Alfred and Grace Miller. Also preceded in death by wife, Jane Ward Miller, sister, Lois Coulis, and brother, George Miller. Vic was drafted into the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country during WWII as forward observer in field artillery under General Douglas MacArthur. Vic then returned to The Ohio State University where he earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration and was the very first individual to ever graduate from the university with such a degree. Vic retired after 33 years as Deputy Director of The State Teacher's Retirement System of Ohio. He also served as the National Secretary for NCPERS for 13 years. Vic was a very spirited, loving and compassionate man who was well respected and had a great moral compass which he lived by. He had a strong faith and was a member of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church. He was also a member of The Stevens Ministry where he distributed communion to shut-in's. Vic was previously on the board of the OEA. Additionally, he was a member of "Hellas Fellas", a Monday breakfast group that dissected both the world and Saturday's football game. He enjoyed biking, running, cross country skiing, attending and tailgating at OSU football games, but most of all, Vic enjoyed his family and being the best father and grandfather he could be. He will be greatly missed by his loving daughters, Julie Miller Klein and Joan Cuthbert; grandchildren, Leah (Jason) Cuthbert Dahlen, Ross (fiancé Jessica Mates) Cuthbert, Rachael Klein, and Zach Klein; former son-in-law, Jamey Klein; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, 7121 Muirfield Dr., Dublin, where family will receive friends from 12 P.M. until time of service Tuesday. The Rev.
