Vincent Monroe Lewis

Vincent Monroe Lewis, age 64, passed away after a short illness on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Mt. Carmel Grove City Hospital. Vincent was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 28, 1959 to Cleophus and Marian J. Lewis. He proudly served as a medic in the United States Army for 10 years. After his service, Vincent worked as an EMT for MedFlight and Mt. Carmel. Outside of work, he enjoyed attending Columbus Clippers games with family and friends. Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Cleophus Lewis and is survived by his mother, Marian J. Gresham; sons, Jamaal (Talia) Lewis and Zachary (Paige) Lewis; grandchildren, Jasmyn Rivers, Kassidy Lewis and Boston Lewis; siblings, David Lewis and Demarla Perkins; and longtime friend, Karen Lewis as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Per his request, cremation has taken place and a military burial will take place in Dayton National Cemetery at a later date, to be followed by a Celebration of Life.
