Violet Anne Jones, age 95, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born June 5, 1917 in Ontario, Canada. She is survived by her children Gordon (Kate) Jones, Ross Jones, Greg (Kathy) Jones, Susan (Phillip) Meighan and Marcy (Dave) Madison; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas S. Jones; siblings Ken Petley and Irene Eyles. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Rd. Dublin, OH 43017 in her memory.
