Virginia Joyce Chambers Wine

Virginia Joyce Chambers Wine, 86, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015. She was born March 31, 1929 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio to the late George and Florence Prentice. She was a very patriotic and independent woman who never met a stranger. Virginia helped start the Grove City Welcome Wagon and worked for St. Luke's Convalescent Center. She was a member of Grove City United Methodist Church and VFW Post 1060. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings, Carol Bartram Sturlevant, Jack Prentice, and Ginny Chambers. Virginia is survived by her children, Susan (Dennis) Waugh and William (Ramona) Chambers; brother, Richard (Colleen) Haag; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where the funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday.
