Virginia Ruth Conroy

Virginia Ruth Rea Conroy, born February 13, 1925 in Ross County, Ohio, passed away November 30, 2014 in Gahanna, Ohio. Preceded in death by husband, Frederick L. Conroy, parents, Floyd and Ethel Rea, and brothers, Carl W. and Earl T. Rea. Virginia is survived by her children, Susan "Becky" May, Ruth A. (Jeffrey) Ralston, and Daniel (Mary) Conroy; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Bell Rea Rigg; dear friend, Doris Brenly; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. Virginia attended Cisco Grade School and Good Hope High School in Fayette County. She was employed by Columbus Coated Fabrics when she met and married Fred and became a stay at home Mom until the children were in the upper grades. Following, she then worked part time at Gray Drugs, Sears Roebuck and full time at The Ohio State University Printing Facility. Virginia enjoyed square dancing, bowling, playing cards, golfing, playing the organ and harmonica, and family events. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9571 N. High St. Family will receive friends from 4-7 P.M. Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd.
