Virginia Jean Ellingsworth

Virginia Jean Ellingsworth, age 87, of Dublin, Ohio passed away on August 10, 2025. She was born on January 21, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William E. and Dorothy J. (Keller) Neil. She joins in death her parents, brother Robert Darst, sister Melody Burns, and husband Paul C. Ellingsworth. Virginia leaves behind her loving sister Evelyn (Robert) Green, brother Donald Darst; children George Basore III, Richard (Ann) Ellingsworth, Michael (Chris) Basore and Dotti (Chris) Ellingsworth; grandchildren Rebecca (John) Weis, Kristen (Christopher) Rusen, Carol (Pat) Hendricks, Katherine (Luke) Diorio-Toth, George Basore, Cassidy (Nick) Clark, Haley (Josh) Dick, and Abby (Louis) Yacomino. Great grandchildren Caroline, Jackson, Liam, Elio, Raegen, Rizor, Knox, Claire, and Ivy. Also surviving is a special granddog, Zeva Ellingsworth, who gently watched over and comforted her in her home over the past 4 years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff and caregivers at Care360 Hospice for their wonderful care of Virginia. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday August 22, 2025 from 6PM to 7PM at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Interment will take place on Saturday August 23, 2025 at 10AM at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio where she will be laid to rest alongside her loving husband Paul.
