

Virginia "Ginny" Ruisinger Verhoff, born April 18, 1939 to Leo and Ruth (Sherman) Ruisinger. Ginny went to join her loved ones who were waiting to greet her with open arms, her parents and her four siblings, Jim, Bill, Ruth, and Jack, on June 14, 2014. She is survived by those saddened by her passing but celebrating a life well lived, her son, Keith (Denise) Falzone of Belen, New Mexico; daughter, Kimberly Jenkins of Columbus; and the child of her heart, Colleen Timmons of Bowling Green, Florida. Ginny graduated from St. Josephs Academy, and worked at Beechcroft Family Practice for many years. After her retirement, she volunteered at the James Cancer Hospital where she made a difference to many families as well as made many friends. Ginny found great joy in simple things. A good book, watching the birds at the birdfeeders, a nice glass of wine, tending her flower garden, and walking the beaches of Hilton Head and Florida collecting seashells. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who leaves many people whose lives were made richer from having known and loved her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, June 20, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 684 S. Third St. Inurnment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
