

Wallace P. House II, Gahanna, age 58, passed away at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital on Friday, February 5, 2010. He leaves his loving family, wife of 26 years, Sharla (Holter) House; a daughter, Michelle; and a son, Brent. He was the son of Sylvia House and the late Wallace House. He leaves a brother, Jim and his family, aunt and uncle, Meredith and Frances Jones, and in-laws, Ed and Helen Holter. Wally was a 33 year employee of AEP. He was a 1971 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln, earned a B.S. in Computer Science from OSU and a MBA from Xavier. He was a member of Stonybrook United Methodist Church, Sunrise Masonic Lodge #783 F&AM, the Past Masters Unit of Aladdin Shrine and Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus, the New Albany-Plain Township Historical Society, Columbus Garden Railway Society, a life member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association and an active member of the Ohio State Rabbit Breeder’s Association. He was an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 007, Westerville and was a 4-H adviser as well as serving on the Franklin County 4-H Advisory Board. The family wishes to thank the many people who have helped in so many ways. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday and a Masonic service will begin at 7:30 P.M.. Interment Maplewood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Franklin County 4-H Endowment or the Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports Program, both thru the Ohio 4-H Foundation, OSU State 4-H Office, 2201 Fred Taylor Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43210.
