Walter Kuehn, age 91, passed away May 3, 2021 at home. Preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Sophie Kuehn; brother, Herm; sister, Mary (Al) and stepson, Mike. Survived by wife of 50 years, Lois June. Also survived by sister, Trudy (Bob); brother, Karl (Lona); children, Jeff, Doug and Terri; stepsons, Bruce (Loretta) and Randy; sister-in-law, Betty. Walt had many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Walt was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Whitehall, OH. He was a U.S. Army pilot during the Korean War. He was a master gardener, woodworker, and all-around handyman. He was well known in the neighborhood for his home-grown tomatoes. Walt lived out the Bible words “Love thy neighbor.” He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He greatly enjoyed family get-togethers at his home. When Walt was your friend, you had a friend for life. A graveside service will be conducted 10 am Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Galloway Cemetery. Pastor Rob Turner officiating.
