Wanda Helen Dodge, 84, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011. She was born June 25, 1927 in Rush, Kentucky. Helen retired from Mifflin Middle School food services. Helen was a dedicated mother and true matriarch of her family. Preceded in death by her husband, John Dodge; parents, and siblings. Helen will be dearly missed by her children, Vina Dodge, Wes Dodge, and Marquita Dodge; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and beloved niece, Michele Roush. Helen’s family would like to extend thanks to Esther’s Place and St. Joseph’s Hospice for the great care they gave to mom. Family will receive friends Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 4-6 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 S.R. 3, Westerville, Chaplain Samuel Abraham, officiating.
