Wanda Marie Rice, age 89, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014. She was born July 18, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Carl and Lorena Wagner, Sr. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Wanda attended Stephens College in Missouri and was retired from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She was a member of T.W.I.G. and a member of First Community Church. Wanda loved to cook big meals for her family to enjoy. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Carl J. Wagner Jr. Wanda is survived by her loving children, Greg Rice and Cheryl (Alfred) Shoman; grandsons, Mark Rains and Matthew (Katie) Rains; nephew, Carl J. (Joanne) Wagner III; niece, Trena Wagner; and many dear friends. Per Wanda's request, services will be private.
