Warren L. Myers

Warren L. Myers, age 81, went home to be with God on January 13, 2011. He was surrounded by his loving family. Warren was the son of Mary and Edward R. Myers of New York. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Myers, his five children and their spouses, and his eleven grandchildren. Warren was an alumnus of Fordham University. He earned a Master’s Degree in chemistry from Haverford College and continued his studies at Yale University. As a First Lieutenant in the Marine Corps, he served overseas. Warren had a long and distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry where he worked on cancer research and prevention. His interests were the health and happiness of his family, whom he imbued with his love of education. He was an avid and competitive runner, which earned him a college scholarship. Later, he came to play and love the game of golf. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road, on Saturday, January 15, from 9-10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m., Celebrant Msgr. Romano Ciotola. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. A luncheon reception will be held at the Our Lady of Victory Parish Center following the burial.
