Wendy Setterlin

Wendy Jo Setterlin died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Wendy was born September 7, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1985. Wendy was an accomplished equestrian and showed American Saddlebreds (both Pleasure and Equitation) and won many ribbons/awards. Wendy loved animals and nature, especially camping and fishing. This love of nature took her to Hocking College where she majored in Natural Resources. It also took her on two National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) trips to Wyoming and Mexico. Wendy loved spending time at Indian Lake and always looked forward to hosting a gathering of friends there every summer. Wendy was an artistic, creative, "free spirit". She found joy in creating handmade gifts for friends and family. Wendy is survived by her parents Ralph and Jane Setterlin; brothers Trey and David (Karen); children Sarah Eanes (Andrew) Cox and Keegan Falin; and granddaughters Harper, Aubrey and Leah Cox; and a host of cousins and friends. Wendy is preceded in death by grandparents John and Josephine Conklin and Ralph and Catherine Setterlin and infant brother Steven John. In lieu of flowers, loved ones are asked to consider making a donation to The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, 2045 Morse Road, Columbus, OH 43229 or another animal/nature organization. Memorial service 3pm Thursday, August 31, at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Rev. Deborah Lindsey officiating.
