

William S. "Bill" Barber, age 94 of Upper Arlington, died Monday, February 9, 2015. William was born January 26, 1921, the son of the late Harry and Ester Barber. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, just nine days earlier, Charma Lee Barber. Also preceded in death by brother, Harry Barber, Jr. William was a US Navy WWII Veteran. Throughout his career, William worked as a radio and television engineer for WTVN Channel 6 and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. He was a fun loving and witty man who loved a good joke. William also enjoyed golf, working crossword puzzles, watching basketball and feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in his backyard. He had an optimistic view on life and a tremendous love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Lee Ann and Paul Morrow, of Hilliard; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Morrow (Andy) Bell; sisters, Lois (Jack) Miller and Patricia (Bob) Campbell; nieces and nephews; other relatives and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 12 P.M. until time of service. Rev.
