William George Burgess

William G. Burgess, went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2015. He was born June 11, 1927 in Grims Landing, WV. He retired from Jeffrey Manufacturing after 45 years of service working as a welder. He is a veteran of WWII serving in the Air Force. Bill always put his family first. He loved and adored his wife, Omeda and daughter, Karen Sue. Bill was loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Omeda, sister; Helen Holcomb, brother; Buddy Burgess, parents; William S. and Roxie Burgess. Bill is survived by his loving daughter, Karen Sue, sister; Rayma Malfe, many nieces and nephews whom he loved. Special thanks to niece/cousin Kimberly for seeing us through. Dad you’re the Best! A visitation will be held for Bill on Monday August 31, 2015 from 4-7pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 1, 2015 at 10 am with Andrew Hoover, Celebrant. Interment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Kobacker House or to the American Cancer Society.
