Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam from 1968 – 1972. Bill had his own heating and air conditioning business and was known for helping those who were less fortunate, often accepting payments of donuts or cat food.
Bill leaves behind his loving wife, of nearly 20 years, Arly Drake. He also leaves his daughters, Kristine Hill (Clark), Bilinda Overcash (Kevin) and three grandsons, Trevor Wills, Tyler Drake and DeCoda Drake.
Bill also leaves his beloved dogs, Isabelle and Hadley. He was often seen riding his scooter around London with his girls on board. London Police would stop traffic for the trio.
Bill is preceded by his parents, Chester and Joyce Drake; siblings, Chuck and Dave Drake, and Patty Thompson.

A celebration of Bill’s life will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Fat Baxter’s, 1794 W. Mound St., Columbus, Ohio 43223
