William Robert Fraley

William Robert Fraley, age 76, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at home. William was born on May 5, 1944 in Holden, West Virginia to Virgil and Martha (Burke) Fraley. He was a son of Coal Miner and a mother who just adored him. Veteran of US Navy. William was a spiritual man and a faithful member of Broadman Baptist Church. He coached over 20 years with the Hilliard Optimist Football League. He loved to work and help people with his wholesale tire business. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Minnie Fraley in 1992; sisters, Sibel Hawkins and Lois Happel. Survived by his wife, Karen Fraley; children, Ed (Carolyn) Harvey, John (Paula) Harvey, Lisa Bowman, William Robert Fraley Jr., Rachel Fraley, Angie (Tracy) Underwood, Gary (Kahn) Dunnuck, Jamie Finney, and Robert (Haley) Garbert; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and he loved them all and affectionately called him Papaw; sister, Barbara Knapp and brother-in-law, Larry Happel. Private family time will take place with cremation to follow. A public memorial service will be held at a later date with burial at Sunset Cemetery.
