William J. Graves

William J. Graves age 62 passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Kobacker House with family by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Graves. He is survived by his mother, Cecilia Graves; twin sister, Katie (Dan) Baumer; siblings, Chris (Michael Goudy) Graves, Chell Graves, Sam (Pamela) Graves, Perry (Sarah) Graves; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, relatives, close friends and colleagues. He was a proud and active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 32 years, Alumni of The Ohio State University with three Masters Degrees, a Mason and member of the Versailles Masonic Lodge, avid athlete and marathon runner. He dedicated his professional career to helping others through his work with the Ohio Department of Development, City of Columbus, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Memorial contributions may be made to the OhioHealth Foundation or the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 3 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St. Family will also receive friends Sunday, November 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Versailles Christian Church, 105 W. Ward St., Versailles, OH 45380. To share a favorite memory of William.
