

William "Bill" Huot, 88, of Dublin, died peacefully in his home on October 12, 2020. He was born in Flint, Michigan, on September 10, 1932 to the late Thomas and Anna (Dufort) Huot. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Huot.
Bill was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War serving from September 1950 to 1953. He joined the City of Flint Fire department and retired in 1977. He also devoted time as a recreational therapist for the Michigan School of the Deaf. He enjoyed the outdoors tremendously and fishing was one of his favorite hobbies. Always enjoyed a challenging game of euchre with his family and friends. Many of Bill's retirement years were disbursed with his talent of painting nature scenes creating places of peace.
Bill will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Monica Huot; children, David (Catherine) Huot, Teresa Paddubny, Annette (Gary) Daly, and Michelle (Brad) Strudgeon; grandchildren, Laura Geisz, Jennifer Worvie, Michael Daly, Kyle Daly, David Strudgeon, Christy Brueshaber, Nicole Ray, Ashley Hamel, Jessica Huot: 13 great grandchildren. All of these he loved and touched deeply.
