William H. Long, age 70, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Bill was born January 4, 1944 in Shelby Gap, Kentucky to the late Mitchell and Ellen Branham Long. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley A.; his daughter and son in law; sister Sue Harris; his three nieces and their families. He is also proceeded in death by his sister Jo Morton.
Bill was a member of Linden Lodge 637, F&AM and Scottish Rite A.A.S.R.
He was also a member of Amlin United Methodist Church.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where a Masonic Service will close the visitation at 5pm. His Funeral Service will be held at 10am, Monday, November 10, 2014 with Pastor Steve Putka officiating. Interment to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
Bill’s family requests that no flowers be sent. Memorial contributions may be made to Amlin U.M.C, 5441 Cosgray Road, Dublin, Ohio 43016 in his memory.
