William E. "Bill" Miller, 80, of Columbus, died Thursday, December 11, 2014. He was born May 15, 1934 in Columbus to the late Earsle and Ellen (Smith) Miller. He retired from Grandview Police Dept. where he served as a police officer for 45 ½ years and was a member of FOP Lodge #9. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by siblings Earsle Jr. and Ellen Louise. He is survived by Nicole his loving wife of 47 years, children, Bill Jr. (Jodie) and Janice (Jerry) Brumfield, grandson Ian (Heather) Brumfield, great grandchildren, Courtney, Nick and Nathan, brother-n-law Rod (Linda) DiPietro and many friends. Family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad with a graveside service to follow.
