Winifred R. Stirk

Mrs. Stirk was born in Newark, Ohio on June 27, 1939 to the late Albert and Hazel (Delancy) Wilson. She died Saturday, September 4, 2010 in Newark.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughters Laura Stirk and Michelle Swartz; brothers Gene, George, and Butch Wilson, and her sister PeeWee Wilson.

She is survived by her daughters Venus (Derek) Shaner of Thornville, Christine (Edward) Bottomley of Dresden, and Albert (Janet) Stirk of Newark. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Frank, Fred, and Pat Wilson, sisters Annie Sears, June Giblin, Geri Williams, and a special friend Gladys Walters, all of Newark. She was an avid Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeyes football fan.

In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the American Stroke Association, 5455 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214 in her memory.
