Yuk Mei Kwan Lee

Yuk Mei Kwan Lee, age 62, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, April 17, in the presence of her loving family. She was born on August 14, 1958 in Hong Kong and was the daughter of Chu Lee and to the late Bill Kwan. She is survived by her husband, Choi Poon Lee, daughter, Betty Lee, son, Simon Lee, her mother and many sisters and brother, who currently reside in Hong Kong and San Francisco. She married Choi Poon in 1982 in Hong Kong and, the brave explorer she was, picked up her life to move to the United States with him. She gave a lot of love to her children, whom she has passed along her traits of confidence and bravery, artistic skills and the love of food and travel. She was selfless and headstrong and was always looking for ways to do what was best for her family. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 with a Funeral Service to follow from 11:00 to 11:45 on Friday, April 30th at HEART and HOPE FUNERAL HOME by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. Family will receive friends at both the Visitation and Funeral Service. We regret that many who cherished Yuk Mei are unable to attend her funeral due to these uncertain times, but we look forward to celebrating her life together with you for many years to come.
