Isabella Maggio, 95, passed away peacefully on July 4. She was born in Sampeyre, Italy and moved to the U.S. and Valley Cottage in 1977. She was the beloved wife of Pasquale Maggio (deceased in 1978) and leaves behind her son Gaspare Maggio and wife Susan, granddaughters Jennifer Jones (Husband Trevor) and Christine Pincott (husband James), and great-grandsons Josh and Alex Pincott. Isabella loved being surrounded by people specially family. She also loved reading, TV, gardening, and was wonderfully talented in needlework. She also enjoyed belonging to the Senior Citizens Club, Congers II for many years. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends both here and in Italy. Visiting at Higgins Funeral Home, Congers, NY from 2-4 and 7-9PM on Wednesday. A mass will be held for Isabella on Thursday at St. Paul's Church in Congers at 9:45AM. Wake will be at Higgins Funeral Home, Congers, NY from 2-4 and 7-9PM on Wednesday. Burial will be held in Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake, NY.
