James Michael Wells

James Michael Wells of Valley Cottage, NY, 42 years old, passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 18, 2021. Jimmy was born in Suffern, NY on July 4, 1978 to Louise and William Wells. He was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Regional High School and spent most of his career in print sales. While not travelling for work, Jimmy resided in Valley Cottage. A beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Jimmy was always around to lend a hand when needed. One of his great loves was making others laugh. He enjoyed fishing, building model ships, playing Santa, Scrabble, rooting for the Yankees and Patriots and a good game of wiffle ball. His nieces and nephew loved him and they always had a great time hanging out with Uncle Jimmy. He will be missed by many. Jimmy is survived by his father William, sisters Catherine and Donna Hoffman (Joe); brothers William and Thomas, nieces Alexandra, Katelyn and Laura,

and nephew Christopher. He was preceded in death earlier this year by his mother Louise.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30-10:45am at Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY.

Mass of Catholic Burial will be held on Wednesday, 11:15am, at St. Paul’s Church, Congers, followed by

interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Congers, NY.
