Jay was born on May 11th, 1943. He attended Clarkstown High School, Rockland Community College. He served for 4 years in the US navy.
A devoted big brother, loving uncle and friend to many; he was a man of many interests including photography, writing and gardening as well as being an excellent cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Fay Sr. And Geraldine Harrigan Fay and his sister Diane Berbenich. He is survived by his brother Gerard Fay of Congers and sister Kathleen Mishebow (Mark)Boca Raton Fla; his nieces ,Victoria Essig’s (Mike)Highland Mills NY, Jennifer Keyes (Bill) Marblehead,MA great nieces & nephews Robert, Brianna, Emma and John as well as numerous cousins.
In accordance to his wishes no service will be held. A Memorial Service is being planned. The family requests that any memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society or that you simply take a moment to remember Jay with a favorite story or memory.
