Perfecto Santory

Perfecto Santory passed away on July 6, 2015 at the age of 75. He was born in Puerto Rico on August 30, 1939. Perfecto was the owner and proprietor for 48 years of Universal Designer Painting Corp. in Valley Cottage, NY. Perfecto lived in Rockland County for 35 years and prior was from Bronx, NY. He always took pride in his work and enjoyed painting. He was a very loving and selfless man who adored his family but his greatest joys came from his girls and their families. He was a devoted and generous friend to everyone and was known for his quick wit humor. Perfecto is survived by his loving wife, Alicia; his daughters Daphne Smith, Lynda Velez, Brenda Santory, and Wanda Santory; his grandchildren Steven, Pauline, Rianne, Tyler, Nicole, Kelly, Liam, Aiden, Stella, and Selina; his 5 brothers and 1 sister. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 11am, at St. Paul's Church, Congers, followed by entombment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Nyack. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
