Carl was born February 22, 1953 in Lewis County, Kentucky and suffered from cerebral palsy since birth. He lived with his parents in the Orange and Glenwood communities. He was a member of the Glenwood Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by aunts and uncles.
Carl is survived by his Aunts: Patty Tanksley of the Orange community and Mary Hallgrath of Greenfield; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Carl will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Interment will follow in Orange Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday until the time of service.
