Ella Kathryn LaMar

Kate was born to Arvel and Agnes Anthis Warren on March 3, 1922 in Decker, Indiana. She was a 1940 graduate of Mt. Olympus High School. Kate was employed with Hooks Drug Store until her retirement in 1987. She was a faithful member of Central Christian Church and a member of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. Kate enjoyed archery as a young girl, and was a devoted Euchre player.

In addition to her parents, Kate is preceded in death by her brother: Bob Warren; two golden retrievers: Tanner and Max.

Kate is survived by her son Bruce LaMar and his wife Judy; grandchildren: Kelly and Chad; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, all of Indiana.

At the request of the family, private services will held at a later date. Showalter Blackwell Long, Myers Chapel, have been entrusted with arrangements. The family gratefully acknowledges the kind and compassionate care that Premier Hospice provided Kate.
