Helen White

Helen Bernice White, 76, of Perryville, Arkansas, died October 26, 2017. She was of the Assembly of God faith and attended Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. She loved her grandkids, her family and her dog, P.J. Bernice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Ms. White was born on January 18, 1941, in Houston, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack White, brother, Paul Hightower and great-grandson, Michael Austin Leggitt. She is survived by two children, Dale (Kelli) Cleaver of Springfield and Rena (Mike) Leggitt of Savannah, Tennessee; six grandchildren, David Leggitt, Daniel Leggitt, Krystal Cleaver, Samantha Cleaver, Cheyenne Williams and Matthew Cleaver; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Ashton Leggitt; and three brothers, Leon Carter, Elmer Hightower and Bob Hightower. Visitation will be Monday, October 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and services on Tuesday, October 31, at 1:30 p.m., both at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Drive in Conway. Burial will follow at May Cemetery in Houston, Arkansas.
