Julia Elizabeth “Betty” Puckett, 85, of Riverdale, GA passed away August 29, 2010. Mrs. Puckett was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Adger &Nellie Scott. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years William Puckett, Sr. in 2005. She is survived by her son & daughter in-law Bill & Karen Puckett of Conyers, GA; granddaughter Andrea Puckett of Conyers, GA; niece Gail DeHart, and nephews Terry Scott and David Puckett. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends today Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Horis A.
