

A vibrant spirit, Karen lived life to the fullest. She was known for her outgoing nature, infectious sense of humor, and her ability to make friends wherever she went. Whether she was sharing a story, lighting up a room with her laughter, or enjoying her favorite tacos, Karen’s presence was always a source of joy and warmth. She was the life of the party, and her welcoming personality left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Karen is survived by her beloved sons, Jason and Matthew Chico; her mother, Janet Peter; her brothers, Edwin and Brandon Peter; and her seven cherished grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kaitlin Chico, whom she now joins in peace.
A wake to honor Karen’s life will be held on Thursday, April 17th at 6:00 p.m. at the District Three Service Center in Sacaton. The following morning at 5am, funeral services will take place at Sacaton Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Sacaton East Cemetery.
Karen’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her laughter and love will never be forgotten.
