

Olivea Jamie Brown, 39, of Casa Grande, passed away on April 20, 2025, after a courageous nine-year battle with renal failure. Born on January 31, 1986, in Phoenix, Arizona, to James Brown and Thomasa Brown, Olivea lived her life with a free spirit and an open heart, always going wherever the wind and her dreams took her.
A passionate learner and determined individual, Olivea pursued higher education after high school, earning multiple degrees in a variety of subjects, from business to fitness. She channeled her creativity and confidence into a successful career as a model and found joy in showcasing her artwork with Art Awakenings. A gifted photographer, she found beauty in the everyday and captured it with heart.
Olivea’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to run her own ice cream truck, which she proudly centered in the Gila River community. She was also known for her generous heart, volunteering with numerous local charities in Casa Grande. She found great purpose and community through her involvement with Sun Valley Community Church.
Olivea is survived by her beloved children, Mariah Brown and Alexander Parra; her parents, James Brown and Thomasa Brown; and her siblings, James I. Brown, Gracie Brown, Loving Brown, and Zenobia Brown. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Francis Ramirez.
Olivea will be remembered for her fierce determination and artistic soul. Her light and laughter touched everyone she met, and her legacy will continue through the many lives she inspired.
