Dorothy Betty Adams

Age 87 of Champlin, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 16, 2016.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Vera Roth; loving husband of 61 years, Firman Adams, grandson Charles Firman Adams; and great-granddaughter, Destany Mariah Thomsen.

As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, her unconditional love was a true inspiration. She lead by example, showing courage, strength and humility, all graced with her delightful sense of humor. Together with her husband, she built a family and instilled them with values that will be carried on for many future generations.

Dorothy is survived by her loving family: daughter, Cheryl (Bill) Freeburg; sons, Craig (Lorrie), Curt (Katie), Charles “Chuck” (Tammy Lannoye), Chris (Barb), Chester “Chip” (Linda); 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.

She was a beautiful lady who will be forever treasured and deeply missed. We will always be proud to remember her as mom, grandma and friend. We rejoice to have had her in our lives, and are grateful for the special gifts she gave us all.

A Memorial Service 2:00PM, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 with visitation one hour prior at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids.
