Age 86, of Andover, passed away on April 22, 2013. Taught & coached in Glenwood, MN for 5 years then at Centennial HS from ‘59-’64; opened up Coon Rapids HS in ‘64, where he worked as a guidance counselor; retired in ‘87. Started the Coon Rapids HS Scholarship Assoc. Longtime member Coon Rapids Kiwanis Club. Preceded in death by wife, Gloria and 9 siblings. Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Sue & Dan Dehnicke; grandsons, Adam (Brooke) & Drew (Katie); great-grandchildren, Hudson & Reese and Luke & Alli; extended family & friends. Memorial Service: 2 PM, Sat, April 27 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave, Anoka. Visitation 1 hour prior. Private interment, Morningside Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family for scholarship designation.
