I met Jeanette thru my sister Pam Doyea and we had many fun times bar hopping in Grand Forks!  Jeanette was always upbeat and fun to be with.  She had a big heart and loved her friends.  I hadn't seen her in quite a few years but I know we would have picked up where we left off.   Now she is with old friends and new!  My condolences to all who loved her!!

I also met Jeanette at the phone company. 
She worked with friends who I worked with.  
After my retirement, around Christmas time, some of us met for lunch.  Jeanette brought a Christmas treat for each of us.  She had made some fruit bread.   She said it wasn't like regular fruit bread.   She was right, it wasn't.   It was the BEST fruit bread I've ever tried. It had to be a family recipe!  ❤️

So sorry to hear about Jeannette’s passing.  I met Jeannette when we were cord board operators in Crookston.  She was always so funny and kind.  Prayers to her family and friends!

Jeanette lived life to the fullest. I was happy to have shared in some of her adventures: be it camping out, tubing down the raging river in Detroit Lakes, making trips to the casinos, making numerous porcelain dolls, going out to dinner or drinks and movies or simply just 'hanging out.'  We met at the phone company (NWB) in Grand Forks in the 1970's and both made a few moves  to different states and cities throughout our years of employment.  I always enjoyed our time together and will cherish the memories we made.  Condolences to her family.

Jeanette and I graduated from Lafayette High School together. We also worked for the telelphone company starting when it was still Northwestern Bell. My memory of Jeanette was how friendly and kind she always was. Prayers offered up for her family for comfort and peace. Blessed be her memory.

I knew Jeanette from Grand Forks, ND phone company days. She was a service rep and I was an order typist.
After divestiture people went to different cities to work. She went to Fargo,  ND and I to Rochester, Mn. It wasn’t until we were both working in Minneapolis that we ended up in the same group at the phone company.
After retirement we kept in touch going out to lunch or to coffee. I will always miss our conversations, her outgoing personality, laughter,
and friendship. Peace be with you Jeanette!

Like so many I met Jeanette at the phone co.  She trained me fo be a cord board operator. We laughed how she hit me with the ruler on my knuckles. Jeanette was a great friend of my mother and then became my friend.  I miss you already.                     Shelly Wahlberg

Heaven gained a beautiful Angel a week ago just in time for Christmas. Jeanette was my aunt and a wonderful person. She had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor. I miss her dearly and think about her everyday. Rest in peace and tell Grandma, Grandpa, Alton, Clarence and Louie we are thinking of them also.

Jeanette and I worked together at Qwest Communications(NWB). We became friends and after retirement there was a group of us that would meet for lunch. We enjoyed dining at different restaurants, catching up on each others lives, and just spending time together reminiscing about our old  jobs . It is sad that Jeanette won't be at our next lunch. It won't be the same without her. She will be missed.

I have know Jeanette for almost 54 years. She was one of the first people I met when I started with NWB in 1970. Little did I know we would end up being life long friends. We worked in various cities and jobs over the years.  But we always kept in touch.  In the 90's we both ended up in Minneapolis and eventually working downtown in the same job. We ended up retiring on the same day. We had our up's and down's with each other, but I am thankful we ended on the upside. I will miss you my friend, rest in peace my friend.  Val

I knew Jeanette for almost as long as my sister, Kathy Altringer.  I worked for the phone company too, so Jeanette and I had conversations about that.  My best memory of Jeanette was her humor, she could make anything funny, even an electric hand dryer in a bathroom.  God bless her family, she will be missed.

I worked with Jeanette for a number of years at the "phone company".  She trained me in the job I loved the best.  I would always ask her "Why" and she would always respond, "Just do it."
Always blunt but fun to be around.  Also spent a couple years doing the worst job both of us ever had at the "phone company".  She helped make that job bearable too.
   Our group would still meet up after retirement and as always she was a delight to have with. So unexpected, my heart is heavy.  Truly our days are known only by the Lord. To everything there is a season.

I was very shocked to hear the news of Jeanette’s passing .  I am a 1st cousin to her.  We shared many memories from times past, our families and friends.  We met for coffee - and laughs- just a few days before her death.  Gods love and strength to all .

I’m sorry to hear this news.  I didn’t know Jeanette well, but I knew her enough to know what a nice woman she was.

I am so sad to hear of Jeanette's passing.  I was hoping that this information was not true.
