She is preceded in death by her father, John Alfred Thum; mother, Frances Thum; and sisters, Joanne and Kathleen.
Kathy's legacy will live on through her loving husband of 50 years, Ralph Eugene Heppner; children, Liz Heppner and Amy (Josh) Tupper; grandchildren, Jacob and David; siblings, Robbie Thum and John (Coreen) Thum; nieces and nephews, Sally and Brian Thum, and John Charles Thum; and extended family and good friends.
Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She liked to garden, loved flowers, hanging with family and friends, going to the State Fair, and participating with Feed My Starving Children. She will be deeply missed.
She loves the Sunday School Song, "Jesus Loves Me"
Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong;
They are weak, but He is strong.
Refrain:
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so
