He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Kevin, and his brother Stanley.
Surviving are his wife, LaVonne Johnson; his daughter, Barbara (William) Smith; 2 grandsons Alex and Gregory; and one sister, Mavis Bakken along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
Kenneth was an airline mechanic for Northwest Airlines for many years prior to his retirement. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and was a lifetime member of Bloomington VFW Post #1296. He was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Blaine. He enjoyed biking and playing bingo later in his life. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Gearhart Funeral Home Anoka Chapel 552 East River Road, Anoka with visitation one hour prior beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
