Kristine graduated from Fridley High School. She loved sports and participated in softball, volleyball, track, and basketball. Kristine and Scott were married in 2000 and started their business together in 2003.
Kristine was an outgoing and adventurous person. She loved knitting blankets for her grandkids and doing special activities with them like diamond coloring sheets and building Legos. Scott and Kristine lived on a lake which was perfect for her love of the outdoors. They enjoyed boating, campfires, s'mores, and gardening. She had the most beautiful, colorful lilies in her garden.
Kristine was strong both emotionally and physically. She was very opinionated and personable, and she had a special way of connecting with people. She was more than a wife and mother, she was our best friend. She will be deeply missed and cherished in our hearts forever.
She is preceded in passing by her father, Steven; grandparents, George and Stella Haynus, and Donald and Alice Solem.
Kristine is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Scott Ziegler; children, Mason (Ashley), Miranda (Justin), Scott, Jesse, Savannah (Marcos), Steven; 11 grandchildren and one on the way; mother, Barbara Haynus; siblings, Jason Haynus; her beloved dog, Molly, and favorite cat, M; and many other family members and friends.
