It's hard to believe that 1 year has gone by.  It was a very difficult year but I made it past all of the firsts (birthday, anniversary, etc).  I cried through most of them.  I miss you so much, Lester!!
The one thing I am still having a hard time with is when I leave for work each morning.  I hesitate, like I am forgetting something.  The thing I am missing is giving you a kiss goodbye!   The same thing happens when I get home from work & wanting to kiss you hello!  Old habits are hard to break!  I love you & miss you very much!!!!

Happy anniversary, Dear!  Today would have been our 20th anniversary.  April Fools!  I didn't get a chance to tell you that I wanted a new wedding ring this year.  I guess I'll keep the one I have.   We've known each other since grade school.You,Ron(as you know now,left July 11,2013)and I were three com-padres.WE DID PARTY,a lot.
  I met the mother of my children at your parent's house.
  I followed you in to the Navy on the buddy program,we were in sister company's at boot camp.
  I was honored to be asked to be best man at your wedding to Kathy.
  I know the world is a sadder place since you left,so keep em laughing up there.

Lester was a wonderful friend, he was always there and ready to help with anything.  He was always smiling, and making me laugh.  I will never forget the time he ate Zuess's dog food, then Zuess never let him get near his food dish again.  I laugh every time I think about it.   Lester will be greatly missed!

My deepest sympathies to the Patchen family for your loss.  Lester was one of a kind, and there will never be another.

You were one of few nieces & nephews that called me, "Aunty Prinny." This speaks to your wicked sense of humor since I was only a few months older than you. XO

When I remember Lester not a single negative thought enters my mind. A quite and very kind man that loved his family and his dogs. I'm not even family and I would see Lester at most family events.  The good ones certainly do leave us to early. Rest in peace Uncle Les and rest assured we continue to look out for your family.

Lester, I met you through Delbert and didn't get the chance to know you well...but what I do know is God broke the mold when He made you. My heart is sad and there's tears in my eyes because we will miss you...but I'm comforted in knowing there is another angel among us and in Heaven.

Les and I went to school together and were on the wrestling team at Anoka High School. I would pick him up at his house on 10 and Round, on my way to school. Always laughing and always had something nice to say. R.I.P. my friend !!

I will miss the way you always defended yourself and Frank when horsing around, and how you always said "Ye-a-a-a-uh" with such a lazy, mischeivious tone in your voice.. And a twinkle in your eyes..

Rest In Peace, Les!  I will never forget you and the fun times we had when we were still in high school and working at the gun club.

Uncle Les, We all are going to miss you very much. I hope Jake, Grandma and Grandpa greated you and are showing you around heaven. You have gone to soon but it must have been your time. God seems to take the good ones first. I remember the time we all went up north and you Supermaned off the wheeler and into a tree that was funny. We laughed forever. I will hold the memories we have had dear to my heart. Love you very much.

Lester I've known you for many years thanks to your sister Wanda I cherish all the times that we've had together even though we've drifted apart in time you can't you come from a wonderful family your sister is like my sister may God Charice you Mom Dad and Jake please continue to watch over us.

My heart breaks for you Kathy.  I will miss laughing when Lester would greet me in his underwear and give my car a good cleaning with them.  I hope the wonderful memories will help you through this ery sad time.  I love you sweetie!

Lester I will always cherish the time we spent together, working on the truck, working on the bike or just riding somewhere, or sitting and talking. I'll remember the time I worked for you and the times you worked for me and the time we worked together. Lester you where one of a kind and I'll miss always. Ride on!
